AP Police SI Exam Pattern (Preliminary)

To begin with, the first stage of the AP Police SI recruitment process is the AP Police SI Preliminary Test comprises two papers, namely Arithmetic & Test of Reasoning & Mental Ability and General Studies. The duration of each paper is 3 hours, and there are a total of 100 questions in each paper.

AP Police SI Final Written Exam Pattern

The Final Written Exam for the AP Police SI posts comprises a total of four papers, out of which Papers 1 and 2 are descriptive in nature. The first two papers of the Final Written Exam for AP Police SI posts are considered qualifying in nature. Paper III and Paper IV are the main papers, each carrying 200 marks, making the total marks for these two papers is 400. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the marks scored in Paper III and Paper IV.

AP Police SI Final Written Exam Qualifying Marks

In order to pass the AP Police SI exam, candidates must obtain at least 40% marks if they belong to the OC category, 35% marks for the BC category, and 30% marks for SC/ ST/ ESM in each paper. While papers 1 and 2 are subjective, papers 3 and 4 are objective in nature.
