SSC CPO Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Exam will consist of Objective Multiple Choice Type questions in both paper-1 and paper-2. The questions will be presented in a bilingual format, meaning they will be available in both Hindi and English. It’s worth noting that 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer recorded by the candidate on their OMR Answer Sheet. The SSC CPO Exam will be conducted in three phases.
- Paper-1
- PET, PST, and Medical Tests
- Paper-2
The final merit list for the SSC CPO Exam will be compiled based on a candidate’s performance in all three phases of the exam.

SSC CPO PET Test (for all posts)
For Male Candidates:
- 100-meter race in 16 seconds
- Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- 1.6 Kmskmsce in 6.5 minutes
- High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
For Female Candidates:
- 100-meter race in 18 seconds
- Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances
- 800-metre race in 4 minutes
- High Jump: 0.9 meters 3 chances.
Note – There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.
SSC CPO Medical Test
The Criteria for the SSC CPO Medical Test are given below:
- Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
- Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
- Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses.
- Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in eyes
SSC CPO Paper 2 Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO Paper 2 Exam will be conducted after PET/ PST Test for SSC CPO Examination is conducted. Moreover, the test will be on English Language and Comprehension conducted online.
