CTET Exam Pattern
CTET Exam is a national-level exam that is conducted to recruit teachers in Central Government schools across India. The exam consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Both papers have 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each and carry 1 mark for every correct answer. Negative marking is not applicable in case of incorrect answers. The exam is conducted in offline mode, i.e., a pen-and-paper-based test. While Paper I consists of 5 sections, Paper II consists of 4 sections. CTET Paper-II exam consists of four sections, namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/ Social Science.
