IBPS Clerk 2023: The IBPS Clerk exam is an annual recruitment drive conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to fill clerical positions in 11 public sector banks across India. The Common Recruitment Process (CRP) is used as the basis for filling vacancies for this post across all public sector banks. The IBPS Clerk CRP XIII will be conducted for the 13th consecutive year for the FY 2023-24. IBPS Clerk 2023 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023 are as follows:

  • Age Limit: The candidate should be between 20 to 28 years of age as of 1st July 2023. Relaxation in age limit is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Proficiency in the local language of the state or Union Territory is also required.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of computer operations is mandatory.
  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling permanently in India.

IBPS Clerk 2023 Salary

An IBPS Clerk’s starting salary is between Rs. 19,900 and Rs. 47,920 per month. The basic pay for an IBPS Clerk is Rs. 19,900, and additional payments include a dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance, and transport allowance. Those who join initially can expect to receive a cash-in-hand salary of Rs. 29,453.

To be selected for the clerical cadre position in most of the leading Public Sector Banks, students must pass both the preliminary and main exams. Marking wrong answers in both the preliminary and main exams will result in a penalty. A penalty of one-fourth of the total marks assigned to that question will be imposed for marking a wrong answer to an objective question. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank or unanswered.

IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam Training

The Nodal Banks/ Participating Organizations have the provision to arrange pre-examination training for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Religious Minority Communities at selected centers in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government of India. Interested candidates can opt for the training at their own expense by selecting the relevant option during the online application process. The bank has the discretion to add or remove centers for training. The candidates who opt for pre-examination training can download the call letter from the bank’s website by entering their registration number and password/date of birth. The call letter will not be sent by post.

IBPS Clerk Exam Centre

During the online application process, candidates have the option to select their preferred exam center. However, in case of the unavailability of seats at the chosen center, IBPS reserves the right to allot a different center to the candidate. Any complaints related to the change in the exam center will not be entertained by IBPS.

IBPS Clerk 2023 Admit Card

The IBPS Clerk 2023 Admit Card will be available for download on the official website of IBPS. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be able to download their admit card by entering their registration number and password/date of birth. The admit card will contain important information about the exam such as the date, time, and venue of the exam, as well as the candidate’s personal details.
