IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the IBPS CRP exam, the candidate should possess a graduation degree from a recognized university in any discipline such as BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. During registration, the candidate must provide a valid mark sheet/degree certificate indicating the percentage of marks obtained in graduation.

Negative Marking: In the IBPS PO exams, candidates will be penalized for marking wrong answers in both the Preliminary and Mains Objective Tests. If a candidate provides an incorrect answer to an objective question, one-fourth of the marks allocated to that question will be deducted as a penalty. For instance, if a question carries 1 mark, then 0.25 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. However, if a candidate chooses not to answer a question, there will be no penalty.

IBPS PO Interview
After qualifying for the mains exam, candidates are invited for a personal interview that carries a maximum of 100 marks. To pass the interview, a candidate must score a minimum of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The interview typically lasts 15-20 minutes and involves a panel of bank officials who ask questions on various topics such as the candidate’s personal background, the banking sector, current events, and general awareness.
