NTA JEE Main Marking Scheme
Below is the marking scheme for JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam for both Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) which candidates can refer to:
JEE Main Marking Scheme for Paper 1
In multiple-choice questions (MCQs), 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Similarly, for questions requiring a numeric value as an answer, 4 marks will be given for a correct response, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
JEE Main Marking Scheme for Paper 2
In the case of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), candidates will receive 4 marks for each correct answer, but there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect response. For questions requiring numerical value as an answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer, and there will also be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect response. As for the drawing test, two questions will be evaluated, and the total marks awarded will be out of 100.
