SSC GD Constable PET
Candidates who score above the designated cut-off marks for the SSC GD Online Exam 2023 will be deemed eligible to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The SSC officials have established certain standards for the PET, which the candidates will need to meet to proceed further in the recruitment process.

Note: If a female candidate is found to be pregnant during the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), she will be disqualified from the recruitment process. Her application will be rejected at this stage.
However, for Ex-servicemen who clear the Computer Based Examination, the PET will only record their height, chest, and weight measurements. They will not have to undergo the actual physical test. These candidates will still need to qualify for the medical examination (DME) to proceed further in the recruitment process.
SSC GD Constable PST
After the PET (Physical Efficiency Test), the candidates will undergo the Physical Standard Test. This test will assess the physical parameters of the candidates such as height, chest size, and vision. Those who meet the required standards will be shortlisted and move on to the next stage, which is the medical examination. Only the candidates who qualify in all these stages will be eligible for the final selection. And the Constable/ Rifleman Physical standards are discussed below:
