NEET Syllabus 2023 PDF: On March 6, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an official notification containing the NTA NEET syllabus and NTA NEET exam pattern. To design the NEET UG syllabus, NTA considered the syllabi of various state boards, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, and CBSE of Class 11 and 12. NEET 2023 Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency conducts the NEET Exam every year in offline mode (pen-paper mode). Students should review the revised exam pattern before studying the syllabus. The revised exam pattern for NEET 2023 is as follows:
- Each subject will have 2 sections – Section A with 35 questions and Section B with 15 questions (of which only 10 questions must be attempted).
- The total number of Multiple Choice Questions is 200, including 20 optional questions. Each correct answer carries 4 marks.
- NEET (UG) – 2023 is a pen and paper-based test that must be answered on a specially designed machine-gradable OMR sheet using a ballpoint pen.
- For every incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of minus one (-1) mark.
- The total duration of the NEET 2023 Exam is 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes).
