SSC CPO Exam Pattern
To get selected for various posts in Delhi Police, CAPFs, CISFs, etc., candidates are required to clear three different phases of the SSC CPO exam. The first phase is SSC CPO Paper 1, which is an objective multiple-choice question paper. The second phase is the English Comprehension Test, which is Paper-II of the exam. The third phase is the PET/ PST test, which is conducted to assess the endurance and physical strength of the candidates. Passing all three phases is necessary to be considered for selection.

SSC CPO PET Test
For Male Candidates:
- 100-meter race in 16 seconds
- Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- 1.6 Kmskmsce in 6.5 minutes
- High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
For Female Candidates:
- 100-meter race in 18 seconds
- Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances
- 800-metre race in 4 minutes
- High Jump: 0.9 meters 3 chances.
Note – There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.
SSC CPO Medical Test
After qualifying in Paper II of the exam, all candidates will undergo a medical examination. This examination will be conducted by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs, or by any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of a Central or State Government Hospital or Dispensary. The purpose of this medical examination is to ensure that the candidates are physically fit and free from any medical conditions that may hinder their performance in the job. It is a mandatory requirement for all candidates who wish to be considered for selection.
- Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
- Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
- Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes
- Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses.
